The EDB and the Association of Renewable Energy of Kazakhstan signed a memorandum of understanding

Nur-Sultan, 16 May 2019. The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) and the Association of Renewable Energy of Kazakhstan (Association) signed a memorandum of understanding to implement renewable energy projects.

The memorandum envisions that the parties will finance investment projects and share experience and knowledge by participation in workshops, conferences, business forums, and other events.

According to the understandings reached, the EDB will take part and assist the Association in its negotiations of medium- and long-term investment projects, consider financing projects under the EDB and Association’s current procedures, and provide information about investment projects the Association could take part in.

The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) is an international financial institution founded by Russia and Kazakhstan in January 2006 with the mission to facilitate the development of market economies, sustainable economic growth, and the expansion of mutual trade and other economic ties in its member states. The member states of the Bank are the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, and the Republic of Tajikistan.
