The EDB and the mayor’s office of Akmola Region intend to cooperate in implementing projects in the region

Nur-Sultan, 17 May 2019. The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) and the akimat (mayor’s office) of Akmola Region signed a memorandum of understanding and cooperation to support projects in the areas of energy, mechanical engineering, infrastructure, agricultural processing, mining, and the manufacture of construction materials and food products.

The Bank and the akimat determined the areas of cooperation in financing investment projects and agreed to share experience, information and knowledge, and ensure the participation of their representatives in workshops, conferences, business forums and other events relating to the development of a “green” economy.
